A Handmade Packing Cube

Today, I am sharing a Packing Cube, which is one of the projects
available to make on the online sewing course with Claire Mackanass

This is the smaller of the two sizes available to make, and
you can see itincludes a carry handle.
Making this project, I learnt how to make binding, sew with mesh
and also how to insert a continuous zip.

I purchased the fabric from The CheapShop in Tiptree, Essex
This is the third project I have made in the Silver Course,
The first one, a Travel Mug Bag can be found HERE and the second
one the Vivien Bag can be found HERE

Claire's step by step video tutorials are easy to follow, along
with her written instructions. In each group, there are six projects
to make, as and when you want to.

I plan to make the larger cube and another one this size, in the hope
I will be able to use them when things hopefully return a little more
back to normal.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.

  3. This is both beautiful and so useful. Well done Janice! I love the fabric you used. You're learning so much from taking these sewing classes. I can barely sew a straight stitch. I enjoy seeing all the things you've been sewing.
