Birthday Card for my Great Niece

Today, I am sharing the card I made for one of my great nieces
for her 15th birthday.

As she loves singing, I thought this free silhouette image I found
on the internet would be perfect for her.

After embossing the card base with the musical notes folder, I added two
embossed lines using my Scor-Buddy.
I then mat and layered the die-cut image with pink and black card.
I used 3D foam pads to attach it to the card.

Lastly, I added the die-cut computer generated sentiment and the
punched pink circles.

The products I have used:
Crafts-Too Embossing Folder - Musical Notes
The Works - Pierced Squares
Pennant die - Brand unknown
EK Success Punch - Small Circle
Sentiment - Computer generated

Female Birthday Card

I’ve just realised I had forgotten to share this card with you last year.

I was asked by my friend’s husband if I could make my friend
a card for her birthday, and this is it!

I embossed a rectangle of lilac pearlised card, then matted it onto
black card and glued onto the card base.

Next I die cut the sentiment three times in white card, glued
them together and placed in the centre of the card.

Lastly, I printed the other sentiment and die-cut with the oval die,
then added some sequins and diamanté gems.

The products I have used are:
One of the two Sizzix Embossing Folders - Lace Set 2
Stampin' Up Sizzix Thinlets die - Happy Birthday
The Works - Pierced Oval die
Sentiment - Computer generated

Wedding Anniversary Card

Today's card is one I made for friends for their anniversary.
A clean and simple card using just two dies and a sentiment stamp.

I started by die-cutting the stitched square, then I positioned the hearts
die slightly above the centre. I stamped the sentiment in black Versa fine ink
and then used 3D foam tape to attach it to the card base.
Using some coral card, I die-cut a few of the hearts and glued them to
directly on the card base.

The products I have used are:
Julie Hickey Designs stamps - I Need: Everyday Sentiments
Impression Obsession - Hearts within Hearts die
The Works - Stitched Square dies

A 'Clean and Simple' Birthday Card

Today, I am sharing the birthday card I made for my sister earlier this month.
I decided to go for 'white on white' with a pop of colour in the centre,
using snippets of white and lilac card.
.
I started by choosing two sizes of the frame dies, die-cut
each one three times in white card and glued them together.

I marked in pencil the position of the smaller frame, and using my
Misti stamping platform, I stamped the sentiment onto the base card.

I then glued the frames in place, added the die-cut flowers to the centre
and finished with the diamante gems.

The products I have used are:
The Works - Stitched Squares
Spellbinders Shapeabilities Die D-Lites - Blooms Four
Julie Hickey Designs - I Need:Everyday Sentiments

A Laminated Pouch

As I needed a money wallet for one of my great niece’s recent birthday,
I thought I’d have a try at making one for her.
I found this one YouTube, which is a laminated pouch, but the lamination
is only on the outside of the card, not on the inside!
The tutorial is Ann’s from Positively Papercraft which you can find HERE

You can see the shine of the laminated card in this photo.
It’s a very clever and easy technique, which can be used for lots
of different embellishments too.

The card I used to make this is from The Works, and it’s a Mix and Match
Design Pad, called Whimisical Pastels.
