My Time to Craft Challenge #465 - Embossing/Heat or Dry

A new challenge starts today over at My Time to Craftwhere the theme this
fortnight is ‘Embossing - Heat or Dry'

Sharing my design team card, a CAS thank you card.

All the details of the challenge can be found HERE

I embossed the card base with the folder and coloured the flowers
 and leaves with the pearlescent chalks.

I stamped the sentiment in silver using a Versacolour inkpad, 
die cut it with the stitched banner, cut it to size and used 3D foam 
pads to attach it to the card.
Lastly. I added three diamante gems.

My Time to Craft #453 - Stencil It

 A new challenge starts today over at  My Time to Craft  where the
theme this fortnight is 'Stencil It'

Sharing my design team card...

I started by stamping the sentiment onto the card base, and
then covered it with a torn piece piece of post-it note.
Securing the stencil in place, and using four different distress inks,
I blended them over the stencil.

My Time to Craft #448 - Thank You

A new challenge starts today over at  My Time to Craft where the
theme this fortnight is 'Thank You'

Sharing my design team card...

Firstly, I embossed the card base with the Cuttlebug frame embossing folder. 
I then die-cut the sentiment within the card base frame and also cut it
using a piece of paper from The Works paper pad which I glued to lightweight card.

I then glued a piece of white card to the inside front of the card base, then 
I carefully glued and positioned the coloured sentiment in place.
Finally, I added small diamante gems to the flowers.

My Time to Craft #433 - 'Use a Stencil'

A new challenge starts today over at My Time to Craft
where the theme this fortnight is 'Use a Stencil'

I started by inking the stencil directly onto the card base using the
Abandoned Coral distress ink.
Before removing the stencil, I lightly inked the remainder of the card.
I then stamped the rose and the sentiment, coloured with Promarkers and
added the pearl gems.

Thank You Di - Blog Hop

I am joining in this special surprise blog hop organised by Darnell 
to thank Di of Pixie's Crafty Workshop for the seven years she has managed 
the 'Snippets Playground'
Di is known as the 'Snippets Queen' and runs 'Pixie Snippets' challenges,
every two weeks, where she very generously offers prizes on a regular basis.
My first entry into the challenge was in October 2015, and I have
been lucky to win a few prizes along the way.


This is a very friendly group of crafters to be a part of, where we are encouraged

Thank You Card

Today I am sharing a quick thank you card that I needed
to make yesterday.
I cut a piece of patterned paper from my stash, attached the doily 
cut from pearlized card to the corner. I then snipped off the overhanging pieces.
I then matted this onto pink card and glued directly on to the card base.
I finished by adding the sentiment, flowers, sequins and Nuvo drops.

Twofer Challenge #3

I am entering my two cards today into the 'Twofer Card Challenge #3'
created by Darnell of DjKardkreations

As you can see from the logo, the aim is to make two different cards for two 
different occasions, using the same stamps and/or dies.
The theme for this month is 'BLOSSOMS'

My first card is Lots of Love
 I have randomly stamped the agapanthus stamp
using Perfect Medium over a piece of black card, then added the Perfect Pearls
and brushed over each bloom very gently.
Next I added a banner for the sentiment and some sequins.
