Female Birthday Card

Today I am sharing the card I made for my friend’s birthday
last week.

Using a piece of pink linen textured card, I embossed it with the 3D embossing
folder and cut to size.

I then carefully moved a white ink pad across the embossed parts to catch the
edges of the petals.
I glued it directly onto the card base, and attached the die-cut computer
generated sentiment using 3d foam pads.

To finish, I added a few pearl gems.
The products I have used are:
Lisa Horton Crafts 3D embossing folder - Blooming Peony
Avery Elle - Simple Sentiment Dies

A new challenge starts today over at A Bit More Time to Craft Challenge Blog
where the theme is always 'Anything Goes'

Sharing my design team card, using one of the set of It's Happy Fun

I started by printing the digi paper onto white card and then die-cut
it using the largest of the scalloped square dies.

navy card, which I then glued to the base card.

Lastly I die cut the sentiment die in navy card, raised on 3D foam,
and added a white peel-off sentiment to finish.
It's difficult to see in the photos, but I added Glamour dust to
the centre of the flowers to add some sparkle.

Hello Spring!

Today, I am sharing my latest card

As we are in the first week of Spring, I thought I would use some bright
Spring colours for my card today.

I started by embossing a 7"x5" card base.
Then using the largest of the Lawn Fawn - Stitched Scalloped Border Dies, I cut three
borders in yellow and green, and glued them together and added them to the bottom of a white embossed panel.
Next using the second largest of the Lawn Fawn - Stitched Scalloped Border Dies, I cut a yellow border and glued it to the top of the embossed panel.

Using orange card, I cut the word 'Hello' from the Avery Elle - Sentimental Die Set
and glued it to the central panel. Finally I added a couple of green sequins
and yellow enamel dots to finish.

Thank You Card

Today, I am sharing a 'Thank You' card which I made in different colours, to thank
the staff in our local hospice, for looking after my
husband so wonderfully before he passed away last month.

When I retired from work, I worked in their Finance office as a volunteer for a few years.
I could see then how fantastic the staff were, but it wasn't until we were actually in need of their services, did I really realise how kind and caring they are and how much
they do for their patients and families. I can only say that they are absolute Angels.

Products I have used:-
Spellbinders Nestabilities - Squares and Scalloped Squares
Lawn Fawn - Large Cross Stitched Square Stackables
Avery Elle Sentimental Stamps - So Very Much
Stampendous - 'Thank You' stamp

Challenges entered:-
Creative Fingers - Anything Goes
That's Crafty - Bling it Up!
Crafty Creations - Anything Goes
Brown Sugar - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by.
