A ‘Clean and Simple’ Birthday Card

Today I am sharing a ‘clean and simple’ birthday card I made recently
for a friend.

I started by embossing the base card with the embossing
folder. I then die-cut two pieces of card in lilac and white.
I stamped the sentiment onto the white piece, then glued the two pieces
together. I attached them to the base card using 3d foam pads.
Lastly I added the diamante gems.

The products I have used are:
Embossing Folder - Craft magazine free gift
Hero Arts wood mounted stamp - Fabulous Birthday
Spellbinders Labels 3

My Time to Craft #407 - 'Inside Out'

A new challenge starts today over at My Time to Craft
where the theme this fortnight is 'Inside Out'

All the details can be found HERE

Here is my design team card, made for a friend's
birthday this week.
I came across the idea of using a piece of double sided paper as the card front on
YouTube. I used a 6" x 4" card base, cutting away 3" of the front and embossed
the remaining  1" panel. Next I cut a 6" x 4" piece of the DSP, edged it with a Promarker
and glued it to the panel. Lastly I added the ribbon, sentiment, gems and glued the
 greeting inside the card.
The products I have used are:-
Hero Arts wood mounted stamp - Fabulous Birthday
Spellinders Nestabilities - Rectangles and Scalloped Rectangles
The Works Mix and Match Design Pad - Gorgeous Soft Pastels
Sizzix Embossing Folder - Lace set 2

I'm hoping this will get me making a start on mine.

snowflakes from the mittens to decorate the corners....no waste on this one!
