Thinking of You Card

Today, I am sharing a stamped card, which is really something just a little
 bit different for me.

I love using my embossing folders and dies in my card making,
but I am not very adventurous, when it comes to stamping and inking.
Although I have quite a few stamps, they certainly don't get used very often.
I now have a Misti, which I love using and is really helping me.
There are so many lovely cards on blogs and Pinterest, that I thought it was about
time I moved out of my comfort zone to give it a try.

The stencil I have used, (I'm embarrassed to say) is one
that I've had for absolutely ages and has remained sealed in it's packaging!
For my first attempt, I am really quite pleased with the result.
I think it will definitely be going into my spares box!

Products I have used:-
Die-Namics - Pierced Rectangles
Memory Box Stencil - Textured Honey Comb
Penny Black stamp - 3122K Sunshine
Sentiment stamp - Craft magazine freebie
Distress inks - Dried Marigold and Spiced Marmalade

Challenges entered:-
Happy Little Stampers - Blend and CAS
Colour Crazy Challenge - Anything Goes
Kitty Bee Designs - Spring Cleaning (use something forgotten about)
Crafting from the Heart - Anything Goes
The Paper Nest Dolls - Anything Goes
Addicted to Stamps - Stamped Image and Stamped Sentiment

Thinking About You Card

Today, I would like to show you my latest project for the Fiskarettes Design Team,
which can be found here on their Facebook page, where you
will find other projects made by the design team.
This card has made a very small dent into my box of scrap papers!

I punched 16 squares from four co-ordinating scraps of patterned papers,
glued them onto a piece of white card, and then ran it
through an embossing folder to give the textured effect.
I then mat and layered onto coloured and white card,
glued it to the card base and finished by adding the stamped
sentiment and diamantés.

The items I have used are:-
Creative Expressions Embossing folder - Textures-Linen
Lawn Fawn stamps - Scripty Sayings
Woodware square punched

I am entering this card into the following challenges:-
Pixie's Snippets Playground - Anything Goes
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge - Anything Goes
A Beautiful Mess - Anything Goes
As You Like It Challenge - Favourite Patterned or Embossed Paper (and why)
[I love running papers through my embossing folders to give different textures]
Simply Papercraft - Anything Goes
Aud Sentiments - Anything Goes + A Sentiment
