Birthday Balloons

Today I am sharing my latest card I
made for the Dies R Us Inspirational Blog.

My card is 6" x 4" and I first cut the Happy Birthday on a small piece of purple card using the Die-Versions - Corner Concepts/Happy Birthday

Next I cut a piece of purple card to attach to the sentiment
corner, and adhered to the card base.
Using a slighter smaller piece of white card, I ran it
through my machine, using an embossing folder to add some
texture, then attached it to the purple card, leaving a small border.

Next, using the Elizabeth Craft Designs - Balloons die, I cut three
balloons in coloured card and three strings in silver mirri card.
I then attached them to the card with glue and 3D foam pads.
I covered the balloons with glossy accents to give them some shine
and added the tiny bow and purple gems to finish.

Here are the dies I have used:-

Female Birthday Card

Today, I am sharing my latest design team card I
have made for the Dies R Us Inspirational Blog.

I started by making a 5 3/4" square card base in navy blue card.
I then cut a 4 1/2" square card in pearlised yellow card and ran it through my
embossing machine using an Embossalicious chevron embossing folder.
Next I mat and layered this card onto blue and yellow card and
adhered to my card base.

Using the Dies R Us - Elegant Corner die, I cut four corners in blue card and glued
them to the yellow embossed card to make a frame.

the Memory Box - Resting Birds in blue card, and adhered them to the
yellow card, using only two of the four resting birds.
I added pearl gems to each corner to complete the card.

Why not check out the great selection of dies available at the Dies R Us store
and don't forget there is a Dies R Us Challenge Blog too.

A new challenge is offered on the 1st and 15th of each month with a PRIZE VOUCHER
offered to the lucky winner of each challenge.

Decorated Chipboard Heart

Firstly, I would like to say hello and welcome to Lilian,
a new follower to my blog.

Here is my latest project made for the Fiskarettes Design team which you
can find on their Facebook page here

First, I covered the heart with glue, then laid it onto a square of patterned paper,
pressing down firmly. Once dry, I cut off the excess paper around the heart.
I used a Promarker pen to edge the heart with some colour.
Using the Fiskars border punch, I punched a strip of card which
overlapped the hearton both sides.
Adhering it to the heart, I waited for it to dry completely
 before cutting away the excess.
I then added the paper flowers, ribbon and the butterfly.

The items I have used are:-
Chipboard heart
Fiskars Interchangeable Border Punch - Daisy Cassette
Fiskars Small Punch - Butterfly

I am entering this into the following challenges:-

A CAS Birthday Card

Firstly, I would like to say hello and welcome to Kat,
a new follower to my blog.

Today I have a 'Clean and Simple' birthday card to share with you,
made recently for a good friend.

Using Spellbinders Oval Nestabilities, I cut a frame using the two largest dies, and also
cut an oval with the largest die, which I used for the stamped sentiment.

Next, using the Clearly Besotted stamp and die set, I stamped two of the flower images,
die cut them and coloured them with my Promarkers.

I stamped the sentiment onto the oval, then adhered it flat onto the base card.
Using 3D foam pads, I placed the oval frame onto the sentiment card, and then
placed the flowers on either side of the sentiment, using glue to stick them to the frame.
To finish, I added a few sequins and enamel dots.

The items I have used are:-
Spellbinders Nestabilities - Ovals
Clearly Besotted Stamp and Die set - Fairytale Ending
Promarkers
Sentiment stamp - free with a craft magazine
