My Time to Craft Christmas #024 - Anything but a Card

A new challenge starts today over at My Time to Craft Christmas
where the theme this fortnight is 'Anything but a Card'

Sharing my design team project - a Christmas Cracker

Using my We R Memory Keepers - Envelope punch board, I followed a
tutorial I found on YouTube to make this cracker using an A4 sheet of card,
cut down to 10" x 6.6"

After scoring and folding, I used double sided tape to complete the cracker.
I am using it as a gift box for Christmas, so after inserting the present,
I added a die-cut circle at each end to cover the inside of the cracker.

Lastly I added the ribbon, sentiment and punched silver mirri
card snowflakes.

Sunny Day Crafting Challenge - 'Anything Goes'

 Today, it's the 'Always Anything Goes' weekly challenge
over at Sunny Day Crafting

This is a card I made for a friend and neighbour of ours, who was celebrating
his birthday yesterday whilst on a Caribbean cruise, lucky fella!

There are plenty of Dinner Jacket/Tuxedo style cards on Pinterest,
which is where I got the idea from, and thought it would be appropriate for David!

I came across Tami's card which I loved and have 'cased' it.
She also has a great tutorial, on making the bow tie with the punch board.
