New Baby Card

Following on from my post on Monday, showing the baby blanket I crocheted
for my new great niece which you can see HERE, today I am sharing the card I
made for my nephew and wife to welcome their new baby daughter.

I started by die-cutting a heart in the centre of a square piece of card, then
I embossed it with the hearts embossing folder.

 Next, I attached it with 3D foam strips. I printed the sentiment and die-cut it
with the stitched banner die. Lastly I added the pink Memory Box die
cut and pink pearls to the banner.

A New Great-Niece

Today I am sharing the card I made for my nephew and wife, on the arrival of their
new baby daughter Isla, weighing in at 9lb 13.5oz.

I started by embossing a piece of white card with the hearts embossing

 folder,  then cut out a frame using the scalloped die. The pram I die cut 

from card and white foam, and before sticking together, I placed some pink card 

behind the cut out parts. After sticking the pram to the centre of the 

card base, I attached the frame using 3D foam strips.

Lastly I added the die-cut sentiment and some diamante gems to finish.

I die cut the bear in blue pearlized card and mounted him on foam to
give some dimension.

A New Great-Nephew!

On Wednesday, my 3rd great-nephew Jack David arrived, weighing in at 7lb 5oz.

He is named after my Dad and my nephew.

A New Baby 'CAS' Card

Today I am sharing the card I made for my nephew and wife, on the arrival of their

new baby son, who was born on Tuesday evening.

I was lucky enough to have the pleasure of looking after his brother and sister for two days,

whilst their Mum and Dad were at the hospital.

This 'baby mobile' die is a great way to use up snippets of card and paper from

your craft stash. I really love the effect an embossed die makes for a frame.
