Get Well Card

My niece recently went into hospital for an operation, and this is the
card I made for her.

After embossing a small piece of white card with the 3D folder, I mat and
layered it onto pink card and glued it directly onto the card base.

I then stamped the sentiment, added the punched daisy and leaves,
then finished by adding the diamante gems.

The items I have used are:
Lisa Horton Crafts, 3D embossing folder - Prism
Julie Hickey Designs stamps - I Need: Everyday Sentiments
Woodware Punches - Daisy and Foliage

Thank you for visiting my blog today.

My Time to Craft Challenge #471 - 'Stitching - Faux or Real'

A new challenge starts today over at My Time to Craft where
the theme this fortnight is  'Stitching - Faux or Real'

Sharing my design team card...

All the details of the challenge can be found HERE

This was a really quick and easy card to make. I started by
embossing the stitched oval die directly onto the base card.

Next I die cut the whole of the rosebud in green card, and the petals
in pink. I glued the complete flower onto the card and paper pieced
the petals, adding a pearliesd gem to the centre.

Lastly, using my Misti stamping platform, I added the sentiment.

The products I have used are:
Julie Hickey Designs stamps - I Need: Everyday Sentiments
Memory Box Poppy Stamp die - Wild Rosebud
The Works - Stitched Oval die

Thank you for visiting my blog today.

Chocolate Bar Wrapper

Firstly, I would like to welcome the six new followers to my blog.
They are DonnaDiBirgitDonnaMarianne, and Barb.
I am sure they would be pleased if you could pop over to their blogs and take a look
at all their fabulous makes.

Today I would like to show you my latest project for the Fiskarettes Design Team
which can be found here on their Facebook page.
My friend Christine from Creativity Continues got me into making wrappers for
chocolate bars, after I saw quite a few different ones she had made, which she posted on
her blog and also earlier on Hope and Chances.

Last year I was lucky enough to be one of Christine's six winners in a competition she ran
to make a chocolate bar wrapper. If you would like a peek, details can be found here.
They make an ordinary bar of chocolate look something special and can be given for all occasions.
The items I have used are:-
Fiskars
Interchangeable Border Punch - Ivy Cassette
Lever Punch Medium - Butterfly
Tag Maker - Standard and Scallop
Sentiment - free gift with a magazine

I would like to enter this wrapper into the following challenges:-
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper - Use patterned paper
Not Just Cards - Anything Goes
Crafting from the Heart - Anything Goes
Crafty Sentiment Designs - Anything Goes
Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes

Thanks for looking in.
