Sweet Winter Blanket crocheted in Navy Blue and Cream

Sharing with you today another crocheted blanket I made
recently for my friend for her birthday.

I made it using the pattern for the Sweet Winter blanket in Navy and Cream.

The pattern was designed by Sue Rawlinson also known
as ‘Sweetpea Family’ on Facebook and Instagram

I purchased Sue's pattern from Love Crafts HERE 

I purchased the yarn online from the  Wool Warehouse 

using Yarnsmiths Create DK 6 x Navy and 3 x Cream

I added my own border made up of 1 row DC, 1 row HTR and 3 rows DC.

Today, I am sharing the blanket/throw I crocheted for my sister earlier this year.

I made it using the pattern for the Sweet Winter blanket, designed
by Sue Rawlinson also known as ‘Sweetpea Family’ on Facebook and Instagram

 I purchased the yarn online from the Wool Box HERE

I asked my sister which colours she would like, and she chose these
to co-ordinate with her lounge.

The pattern uses 9 x 100g balls of Stylecraft Special DK and I
used the following shades:

Cream, Mustard, Turquoise, Teal, and Mocha

I really love crocheting this pattern, and I'm sure I will make

another in the future using different colours.

great niece last year.

I decided to make it using the pattern for the Sweet Winter blanket, designed
by Sue Rawlinson also known as ‘Sweetpea Family’ on Facebook and Instagram

used the following shades:
Cream, Parchment, Parma Violet, Duck Egg and Stone

I'm pleased to say that my great niece loved it.

Sweet Winter Blanket

Today I am sharing another crocheted blanket I made earlier this year.
In cardmaking 'Christmas in July' is a trend, so I thought I could add my
crocheted throw to this theme, just before the month ends!

The designer of this gorgeous blanket is Sue Rawlinson also known as
‘Sweetpea Family’ on Facebook and Instagram

I love her pattern designs and the pretty colour combinations she uses,
this one using beautiful Christmas colours.

I purchased Sue's pattern from Love Crafts which you can find HERE

and I purchased the yarn pack from Wool Box HERE

The pattern uses 9 x 100g balls of Stylecraft Special DK in the following shades:

Cypress, Cream, Claret, Lincoln, and Lipstick 

The pattern also includes a Pom Pom band to wrap around the blanket,
but I have still to make that.

I really enjoyed making this blanket, and it's now ready to be used this Winter.

Sweet Summer Blanket

 Sharing another crocheted blanket I have made called the 'Sweet Summer Blanket'

The designer is Sue Rawlinson also known as ‘Sweetpea Family’ 
 on Facebook and Instagram

I love her pattern designs and the pretty colour combinations she uses.

 I really liked the bobble stitch which I learnt last year in Sue's pattern for the
Sirdar CAL 'Sweet Blossom' blanket which you can see HERE, so I was
keen to give this pattern a try.

I really enjoyed making this blanket, and will probably make another

sometime, maybe using autumnal colours.

The wool was purchased online from The Wool Box and the pattern
required eleven 100g balls of Hayfield Bonus DK in the following shades:

Cream, Blush Pink, Frost Blue, Vanilla, Gentle Jade, Terracotta, Oatmeal,
Lilac and Lagoon Blue.
