Twofer Challenge #3

I am entering my two cards today into the 'Twofer Card Challenge #3'
created by Darnell of DjKardkreations
All the details for this challenge can be found HERE

As you can see from the logo, the aim is to make two different cards for two
different occasions, using the same stamps and/or dies.
The theme for this month is 'BLOSSOMS'

My first card is Lots of Love
I have randomly stamped the agapanthus stamp
using Perfect Medium over a piece of black card, then added the Perfect Pearls
and brushed over each bloom very gently.
Next I added a banner for the sentiment and some sequins.

The products I have used are:-
Stampendous Woodblock Stamp - Agapanthus Bloom
Ranger Perfect Pearls
Banner Die - Purchased from eBay
Challenges entered:-
Aud Sentiments - Bingo + A Sentiment (3D item/Stamp/Markers)
Craftaholics R Us - Anything Goes
Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Cards in Envy No Patterned Paper

My second card - Thank You
I embossed the base card with the Tied Together
folder. I then stamped one blossom, added some colour with Promarkers,
then cut out using the circle dies.

The products I have used are:-
Stampendous Woodblock Stamp - Agapanthus Bloom
Spellbinders Nestabilities - Circles
Stampin' Up - Word Window Punch
Promarkers

Challenges entered:-
DL.ART - Flowers/Thank You Card
Southern Girls - Die Cuts
Scrapy Land - Anything Goes
That's Crafty Challenge - Spring into Action

Thank you for visiting today.

  4. Two lovely cards here Janice! I can just imagine how shimmery the card with the perfect pearls is in real life. So pretty on dark colored card stock like that! The flower really pops on the second card too!

  9. They are two lovely and very different cards Janice. What a lovely stamp that is. I've not used the technique on your first card for such a long time then strangely did it at a workshop this morning. I shall be getting my perfect pearls out again to do some more. Barbxx

  10. Oh, well done, Janice! Bring back Perfect Pearls! I forget I even have mine, but you sure inspire me to find them! I love the shimmer and think the agapanthus looks amazing against the black on your Love card! It also looks amazing IN black on your pretty pink Thank You card with the fabulous embossing! Thank you so much for playing along at Twofer Card Challenge #3! Hugs, Darnell
