Stencilling with Distress Inks

Today, I am sharing a card I made for my friend who celebrated her birthday yesterday.
This is my first time of making an inked background with a stencil.
I was quite pleased with the result, so I think I'll be trying it again.

After cutting and embossing the cross-stitched square, I left the card in the die,
laid the stencil over the card and lightly inked with Dusty Concord and
Spiced Marmalade Distress inks.

The products I have used are:-
Lawn Fawn - Large Cross-Stitched Square Stackables
Crafter's Workshop Stencil - Mini Daisy Cluster
Crafter's Companion Die'sire - Scalloped Tags
Filigree Flower - purchased from eBay
Ranger Distress Inks
Sentiment Stamp - Free with Craft Magazine

Challenges entered:-
The Flower Challenge - Anything Goes
