Sympathy Card

Today I thought I would share a sympathy card I made recently, for a friend who lost her sister. They are not the easiest of cards to make, and I wanted to keep it fairly simple, so thought my new embossing folder from Darice would do the trick.
I matted and layered onto purple card, added some punched daisies with pearls to the centres.

The items used are:-
Darice Embossing Folder - Sympathy,
Crafters Companion Die'Sire embossing Folder - Swirl Corner
Hougie Board, X-Cut flower punch

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge:-
Just Us Girls - Word Week, Sympathy
Suzy Bee's Blooming Challenge - Anything Goes with a Twist, Embossing wet or dry

Thanks for looking in.

  3. Loving the white on white subtlty of your card with the pop of purple flowers. They don't overwhelm your serious card. I'm sure it was a comfor to receive a handmade card.
