Female Birthday Card

I’ve just realised I had forgotten to share this card with you last year.

I was asked by my friend’s husband if I could make my friend

a card for her birthday, and this is it!

I embossed a rectangle of lilac pearlised card, then matted it onto

black card and glued onto the card base.

Next I die cut the sentiment three times in white card, glued

them together and placed in the centre of the card.

Lastly, I printed the other sentiment and die-cut with the oval die, 

then added some sequins and diamanté gems.

Sweet Winter Blanket crocheted in Neutral Colours

Today, I am sharing the blanket/throw I crocheted for my eldest
great niece last year.

I decided to make it using the pattern for the Sweet Winter blanket, designed
by Sue Rawlinson also known as ‘Sweetpea Family’ on Facebook and Instagram

I purchased Sue's pattern from Love Crafts which you can find HERE 

 I purchased the yarn online from the Wool Box HERE

I asked her what colours she would like, and she opted for neutrals.

The pattern uses 9 x 100g balls of Stylecraft Special DK and I
used the following shades:
Cream, Parchment, Parma Violet, Duck Egg and Stone

I'm pleased to say that my great niece loved it.

Same Style Masculine Card, Four Different Colours

 During November and December, I made four masculine cards, two for
my nephews and two for friends.

I settled on this design, and decided to make them in different colours
and slightly different styles.

Crocheted Infinity Scarves

Sharing two Infinity scarves crocheted for my sister and a friend using
Melanie Ham's pattern which you can find HERE on her blog and HERE on YouTube

For my sisters scarf, I used 2 x 50g balls of Stylecraft DK, Batik Elelments
in the shade Titanium 

I purchased this yarn from The Cheap Shop, Tiptree, Essex

For my friend's scarf I used 1 x 100g ball of James C. Brett Stonewash DK
in the shade: SW14 Heather

I purchased this yarn from Hobbycraft and used a 5mm crochet
hook for both.

These are easy projects to make and are good for making 'on the go',
as everything fits into a zip-lock bag.

Birthday Card for my Nephew

Today, I am sharing the birthday card I made for 

my nephew last month.

I started by embossing some white card with the stitch embossing folder.

Next I trimmed it to the edge of the pattern, and matted it onto

some black card. I then glued it directly onto the card base, adding

some sticky peel-off diamond shapes to the corners.

Lastly, I die-cut the sentiment in black card and black 3D foam,

glued them together and then glued it to the embossed panel.

Female Birthday Card

I made this ‘clean and simple’ card for a friend after seeing the idea on Pinterest.

Using my Misti stamping platform, I stamped the word

‘Happy’ using five different coloured inks.

Next, I die-cut it using the pierced rectangles die, used 3D foam to

adhere it to the card base, then added the birthday sentiment and gems.
