L.O.L. Doll Card

Today, I am sharing the birthday card I made recently for my great niece who
loves to collect L.O.L. dolls.
I was pleased to find a free coloured image on the internet to use, which I die-cut with
the hexagon die, adding some Glamour Dust to give it some sparkle.
After matting and layering it with pink and black card, I glued it directly onto the
embossed card base, doing the same for the number.

The products I have used are:-
Spellbinders Nestabilities - Hexagons and Scalloped Hexagons
Cuttlebug Alphabet and Numbers - Olivia
Creative Expressions Embossing Folder - Lace
Alphabet dies - Brand unknown

Challenges entered:-

A Quilted Box for my Caravanning Friends

Today, I am sharing another quilted box I made recently, for my friends
to use in their caravan.

The material is a Nutex fat quarter called Getaway Caravans which I
found on eBay.

I know it's being well used and is full of different bits and bobs.

I really enjoy making these quilted boxes, especially when I can personalise
 them with special fabric.

This quilted box is part of the Beginners Sewing class with Claire
at Beautiful Things which is available as an online course.

My Time to Craft #441 - Harry Potter inspired

A new challenge starts today over at My Time to Craft where the

theme this fortnight is ‘Harry Potter inspired’

Here is my design team card...

Since I am not a Harry Potter fan, I didn’t have much of an idea as
to what I could make, that was until I luckily found some free images on the
internet to use, and chose this one.

It doesn’t show very well in the photo, but I embossed the black card base
with the brick embossing folder, mat and layered the image, and glued it directly
onto the card. I added the die-cut sentiment to finish.

All the details can be found HERE
The products I have used are:-
Spellbinders Nestabilities - Squares
Spellbinders M-Bossabilities - Bricks and Bark
Stitched Banner die - Brand unknown
Sentiment - PC generated

A Bit More Time to Craft Challenge #124 - 'Anything Goes'

A new challenge starts today at 'A Bit More Time to Craft Challenge Blog'
where the theme is always 'Anything Goes'

Here is my design team card made using one of the set of
Fantasy digi papers.
Details of the challenge can be found HERE
where 3/5 randomly drawn winners will each get to choose
3 sets of Lozzy's papers.
Looking for latest Challenge Here Click Badge Below
For my card, I have used the 'Reverse Frame Technique' which I found
HERE on Natasha Foote's YouTube channel.
She shares some amazing cards and card making techniques.

I printed the digi paper onto white card, which I then cut to fit a 6" x 4" card base.

Next, lining up one of the larger Spellbinders dies in the centre of the printed card,
I ran it through my Cuttlebug to create the frame. Using 3D foam tape, I placed
this directly onto the card base.

With the die-cut piece of card, I used one of the smaller dies and ran it through
my Cuttlebug. Before placing inside the frame, I stamped the sentiment
and added a few gems.

The products I have used are:-
Lozzy's digi papers Fantasy
Spellbinders Labels Ten
Sentiment stamp - Brand unknown

Challenges entered:-
The Paper Funday Challenge - Anything Goes
Cuttlebug Mania - Anything Goes
TTCRD - Anything Goes
