Eclipse Birthday Card for my Great Niece

Today I am sharing the birthday card I made for one of my great nieces
who loves gymnastics.

I found this free image on the internet, printed it onto card and using the alphabet dies,
I die-cut her name. I then matted the image onto blue card.

Next I embossed the card base and glued the image directly onto it.
I then die-cut the letters using 3D foam, glued them to the card letters,
and then glued them directly into place on the picture.

Lastly, I added the birthday sentiment and the number.

The products I have used are:
Crafter's Companion 'Textures' Embossing Folder - Distress
Marianne Designs - Mini Numbers
Presscut - Happy Birthday
Alphabet dies - Brand unknown

Eclipse Birthday Card for my Great Niece

Here is the card I made earlier this month for one of my great nieces.
for her 12th birthday.
She loves playing tennis, and is a member of a local tennis club so I
thought this Hunkydory image would be perfect for her.

Before mat and layering the image onto the pink card, I die-cut
her name into the image, and used black 3D foam to raise
the letters.

The products I have used are:-
Hunkydory - The Second Little Book of Decoupage
Papermania Clare Curd's Signature range - Sentiments
Alphabet dies - Brand unknown

Today's card is one I made for one of my great niece's who celebrated
her birthday earlier this month.

I chose one of the Lili of the Valley designs from the art pad, positioned the
letters carefully across the picture using low tack tape and die-cut her name.
Next, I die-cut the letters in black foam and glued both sets together.

After mat and layering the picture to purple card, I glued it directly to
the card base and glued the raised letters in place.

Lastly, I added the sentiment, number and diamante gems.

The products I have used are:

A Female ‘Eclipse’ Style Birthday Card

Today, I am sharing the birthday card I made recently for my sister,
which I really enjoyed making. I love the effect of the partially stamped letters
set against the de-bossed background.
I found the design on Pinterest.
I started by drawing round the letter dies on a snippet of white card, and then
stamping each letter randomly with the peg dies (which I have had for many
years, which I bought individually at an Ally Pally craft fair), and the flower
stamp from the Stampin’ Up set, using three different coloured inks.

Next I die-cut the letters and mounted each one on foam. I then de-bossed the
card base and stamped the sentiment. After carefully positioning the letters
and adhering them to the card, I then added the ribbon and diamanté gems.
The products I have used are:-
Rubber Stamp Tapestry Wooden Peg stamps
Stampin’ Up - Itty Bitty Buds
Ranger Ink Letter It - Birthday
Crafts-Too Embossing Folder - Snowdrops
Alphabet dies - Brand unknown

My First Eclipse Card

I have seen so many lovely eclipse cards on various blogs and Pinterest just recently, that I
thought I'd have a go at making one. I also found some good tutorials on YouTube.
I've started small for my first card, as the alphabet dies I have used are only
1 inch/25mms high, whereas most cards I have viewed have been made with larger dies.
I have also kept it simple in design, but will certainly be trying some more in the
future and use my embossing folders too. I really love the effect the raised letters give.
The products I have used are:-
Fiskars Floral stamp set
Alphabet dies - Purchased from eBay
Presscut - Happy Birthday
Misti

Challenges entered:-

Crafter's Castle - Anything Goes
