My Time to Craft Christmas #010 - Fairy Lights

 new challenge starts today over at  My Time to Craft Christmas where the
theme this fortnight is 'Fairy Lights’

I partially embossed the base card with the Snowdrops embossing folder, 
and used my Hougie board to emboss a line where the embossing finished.
After colouring the image with Promarkers, I mat and layered it with black 
and red card and used 3D foam to give it dimension.

Birthday Card for a 6 Year Old Girl

Today, I am sharing the birthday card I made for my neighbour’s daughter.
I started by cutting the Lili of the Valley image slightly smaller than 
the card base. I then positioned the alphabet dies and die-cut her name.
I mat and layered this onto blue card, added the number six and a few gems.

A Bit More Time to Craft Challenge #140 - 'Anything Goes'

 A new challenge starts today over at A Bit More Time to Craft Challenge Blog 
where the theme is always 'Anything Goes'

Sharing my design team card, using two different sets of digi papers...

I printed one of the Happy Flowers set directly onto the card base, and then
ran it through the Cuttlebug using the embossing folder to give some texture.
Next, I die cut one from the Wash It set, and stamped the sentiment.
Using 3D foam pads I placed it onto the card base.

My Time to Craft Challenge #457 - Inchies


A new challenge starts today over at My Time to Craft  where the
theme this fortnight is ‘Inchies’
(A group of 4 or 9 images or a larger image cut up into 4 or 9)

I started by stamping the postage stamp stamp, four times on the white card using
Versa Colour ink. I then stamped a flower to each one, stamping them 
in Versafine black ink.
I punched a border in black card, added the stamped panel and glued it
onto the embossed card base using 3D foam.
Lastly, I added Glimmer dust to the flowers and glued on the sentiment.

Birthday Card for my Niece


Today, I am sharing the birthday card I made for my niece last month.
I found a piece of ombré style paper in my stash, which I glued to some card,
and then die-cut the word ‘happy’ in the large alphabet dies.
I also cut the letters in black 3d foam and glued them together.
Next I embossed the card base, glued the letters in place and lastly
added the die-cut birthday in black card and the diamanté gems.

Belated Birthday Wishes

I missed a friend’s birthday recently, so here is the card I made for her.

I haven’t got any belated birthday sentiment stamps, so I decided
to print the greeting directly onto the card base. I then stamped the image
with black Stazon ink, coloured it with Promarkers and added a few
pearlised gems to finish.

My Time to Craft Christmas #009 - DL/Slimline

 A new challenge starts today over at  My Time to Craft Christmas where the
theme this fortnight is 'DL/Slimline’

The details of the challenge can be found HERE

I started by glueing a piece of the festive paper, edged with a red Promarker to the card base.
I then die-cut the word ‘merry’ in red mirror card and red foam glue-ing them together,
to give them some dimension. I then glued them onto the card.

The word  Christmas was die-cut using just one piece of white card.

A ‘Clean and Simple’ Birthday Card

This is a clean and simple card I made for a friend a couple of months ago,
which was nice and quick to make. I highlighted the embossing using the
pearlescent chalks, added the sentiment and gems to finish.
