My Time to Craft Christmas #024 - Anything but a Card

A new challenge starts today over at My Time to Craft Christmas
where the theme this fortnight is 'Anything but a Card'

Sharing my design team project - a Christmas Cracker

The details of the challenge can be found HERE

Using my We R Memory Keepers - Envelope punch board, I followed a
tutorial I found on YouTube to make this cracker using an A4 sheet of card,
cut down to 10" x 6.6"

After scoring and folding, I used double sided tape to complete the cracker.
I am using it as a gift box for Christmas, so after inserting the present,
I added a die-cut circle at each end to cover the inside of the cracker.

Lastly I added the ribbon, sentiment and punched silver mirri
card snowflakes.

The products I have used are:
We R Memory Keepers - Envelope punch board
Spellbinders Nestabilities - Circles and Scalloped Circles
EK Success - Snowflake punch
Docrafts Xcut - Snowflake punch

A Birthday Card For A Friend

Last month, I was lucky enough to win a prize given away by
Christine of  Hopes and Chances Creativity
For one week in May, Christine kindly gave away a Spellbinders die every day
on
her Facebook page HERE

I won the Swirl Lattice Panel die which is just gorgeous and can be found in the
Hope and Chances Creativity shop HERE currently available at a sale price!

My card is based on an idea which comes on the back of the packaging.
Firstly, I covered the front of the card with some vintage floral paper.
Next I die-cut some pearlized card twice with the Lattice Panel die, glued
them together to create the square shape.
I then added the stamped sentiment, flowers and sprigs, finishing with
some pearls to decorate.
The products I have used are:-
Spellbinders - Swirl Lattice Panel
Spellbinders Shapeabilities - Fancy Framed Tags Two
Spellbinders Shapeabilities Die D-Lites - Sprigs

Female Birthday Card

Today, I have a birthday card to share with you that I recently made for a friend.
This is the first time I have used the embossing folder which was one of my purchases
at the Ally Pally craft show in April. It's so pretty and is one I think I'll be using a lot.

I started by first cutting the circular die from the base card, and stamping the sentiment,
which is two from a set. Then using two dies taped together I made the lilac frame.
Next I placed them all together and taped them back into the aperture, added
the bird and the flowers.
The single bird has been snipped from a branch of five birds.

The products I have used are:-
Stitched semi circle - purchased from eBay
Sentiment stamps - purchased from eBay
Bird - purchased from eBay
Leanne Creatif Embossing Folder - Little Flowers
Woodware punch - Fern
Xcut Punch - Small Daisy

Female Birthday Card

Hello and a Happy New Year to you all.
Today I would like to share my first card of the year, which I was
asked to make at very short notice!
So, with speed in mind, I used the embossing folder directly onto the card base.
I like this embossing folder, as it has a nice scalloped circle
in the centre, which can have anything added to it as a topper.
I attached the punched flowers and leaves, then added pearls to the centre of the flowers.
I have used navy card for the numbers and scalloped circle,  but it looks black in the
photo due to the poor lighting on the day!

The items I have used are:-
Crafts Too embossing folder - Round Frame (CTFD3094)
Spellbinders -  circles & scalloped circles
Numbers are from the Cuttlebug Olivia Alpabet
Woodware punch - Fern
Docrafts Xcut punch - Small daisy

I am entering this card into the following challenges:-

Best Wishes Card

Hello, today I'd like to show you a card I made for my friends Réne and John,
who sadly have just closed their craft shop.

After colouring some white card with an aubergine Promarker, I punched some flowers, a butterfly and used the rest to mat and layer the sentiment card which I cut out using the pierced rectangle die.
I also coloured some white ribbon with the Promarker, so everything matched.

The items I have used are:-
Die-namics - Pierced Rectangles
Woodware Punches:- Fern & Medium butterfly, X-Cut Punch:- Daisy
Sentiment - Pink Petticoat (Simple Sentiments)
Aubergine Promarker

I am entering this card into the following challenges:-
