Masculine Birthday Card

I made this card for a friend to give her partner last month.

for two of my nephew’s, which you can see HERE and HERE

The products I used are:-
Spellbinders Nestabilities - Circles
Stitched banner die - Brand unknown
Sentiment - Computer generated

 Challenges entered:-

A Hand Sanitiser Holder

Over the weekend, I came across a sewing pattern on YouTube to make a
very useful hand sanitiser holder to attach to the inside or outside
of a handbag, rucksack or belt.

I had some material leftover from the bag I made HERE
so thought I'd have a go at making the holder.
The pattern is Diane's design from Spencer Ogg
and can be found - HERE
Her YouTube instructions are easy to follow and the pattern can be
adjusted to a larger or smaller size to hold glasses or lip balm.
I then realised I had enough material to make a matching face mask.
I'm sure I'll be making a few more of these which would make great gifts for
friends and family. They are also a great way of using up any leftover pieces
or scraps of material.

Anniversary Card

Today's card is one a friend asked me to make
for her recently. I went for a 'clean and simple' style of card.
Using snippets of blue pearlised card and plain white card, I die-cut
the flowered heart onto a stitched square and glued it directly onto the
ornate frame. I used 3D foam squares to raise the frame on the textured base card.

I placed diamante gems to the centre of the flowers, and then added
the sentiment.

to make a very quick and easy card.

the toppers were attached too and some gems.

A Vivien Project Bag

Today, I am sharing a Vivien Project Bag, which is one of the projects
available to make on the online sewing course with Claire
at Beautiful Things Craft and Sewing Classes
This is a lovely drawstring, quilted bag designed for keeping knitting or
crocheting projects in. When you pull on the drawstring, you can use
the handles to carry the bag around.
It also has a very useful large zipped compartment inside,
which can be used as a divider to separate different projects.
It could easily be used as a wash bag too.
This is the second project I have made in the Silver Course, the first one,
a Travel Mug Bag can be found HERE

The outer fabric is a Rose and Hubble design - Tropical Lily on Black
which I purchased online from Fabric Love along with the green
cotton lining fabric.
The red cord is from The CheapShop in Tiptree, Essex

Claire's step by step video tutorials are really easy to follow, along
 with her written instructions.

In each group, there are six projects to make, as and when you want to.
I still have one more to make from the Bronze group, which is an envelope
backed and zipper tabbed cushion, but as we didn't receive the instructions until
recently, I thought I would make this bag.

A Bit More Time to Craft Challenge #120 - 'Anything Goes'

A new challenge starts today at 'A Bit More Time to Craft Challenge Blog'
where the theme is always 'Anything Goes'

Here is my design team card made using two of the set of
Pink Love digi papers.

Details of the challenge can be found HERE
where 3/5 randomly drawn winners will each get to choose
3 sets of Lozzy's papers.
Looking for latest Challenge Here Click Badge Below

After cutting both of the papers, I edged each one with a black
Promarker, which gives the effect of matting onto black card.
I stamped the sentiment directly onto the smallest square, and then used
3D foam to this and the patterned square to give some dimension.
I added the black gems to finish.

The products I have used are:-
Lozzy's digi papers Pink Love
Impression Obsession wood mounted stamp - Happy Birthday (B5204)

Golden Wedding Anniversary Card

Today, I am sharing the ‘clean and simple‘ anniversary card I made
recently for my cousin and his wife.
Using snippets of white card and gold mirror card, I raised the champagne
embossing folder panel using 3D foam strips onto some mat and layered white
and gold mirror card. I then added the sentiment and gold gems to finish.

Annoyingly, I noticed after I had posted it to them, that the dot was
missing over the letter ‘i’!

The products I have used are:-
Lux Craft Cut and Emboss 6" x 6" Folder - Champagne Celebration
Lawn Fawn Script - Happy
Presscut - Happy Birthday
Challenges entered:-
Dream Valley - All Occasions

More Quilted Boxes

To keep myself busy during lockdown, I made another two quilted boxes
for two of my great nieces.
The outer fabric is black-out blind material which was kindly given to me by some
neighbours when they moved house recently, along with a bag full of other fabrics for
making blinds, which I am looking forward to using.

I have used Aldi fat quarters for the linings of them both.
Two of my great nephews have asked if I could make them one
for their bedrooms, so I am now on the look out for digger/truck
fabric and Captain America fabric!

They are really very easy to make, and would make nice presents
filled with a selection of bathroom essentials, make-up or maybe
even some stationery.
I really enjoy making these quilted boxes, which I learnt to make by
Claire at Beautiful Things, on her Beginners Sewing class.

Z-Fold Card

Today, I am sharing the birthday card I made recently for my nephew.
This is my first try at making a Z-fold card, after seeing a few on different blogs.
I followed a tutorial found on Pinterest.

Using snippets of the Papermania papers, I cut and glued two panels to the front
and back of the card base.
I then die cut the letters from snippets of navy blue card and also gold mirror
card in my stash.  I glued them together by slightly offsetting them, which makes
them stand out more against the tan card and checked paper.
The products I have used are:-
Spellbinders Nestabilities - Rectangles
Alphabet dies - Brand unknown
Docrafts Papermania Papers - Heritage Press
EK Success punch - Small Circle
Sentiment stamp - Craft magazine free gift
