Wedding Card

Today, I am sharing a card I was asked to make by my friend Mark
for his work colleagues.
As always, he gives me the ideas of what he would like on the card
and this is what I came up with.
I thought I had a wedding ring die in my collection, but as I couldn't find it
I used Spellbinders oval dies and made my own wedding rings.

I added acetate to the back of the bottle and added Glimmer Dust
to give some sparkle.

The products I have used are:-

Spellbinders Nestabilities - Ovals
Heart and Champagne bottle dies - Purchased from eBay

Sentiment - PC Generated

Happy 75th Birthday!

Today's card is one I made for my card-making friend who celebrated
her 75th birthday on Monday.
She loves gardening, so I thought this decoupage was perfect for her.
I started by scoring lines on the lower half of the card to add some texture,
embossed a strip of co-ordinating coloured card for the centre, and added
some peel-off borders to decorate the edge.
I mat and layered the decoupage picture, created the sentiment on the computer,
then added a little bit of bling to the oval card.

The products I have used are:-
La Pashe decoupage - Bloomin' Lovely
Couture Creations A4 Embossing Folder - Swiss Dots
Spellbinders Nestabilities- Ovals and Scalloped Ovals
Hougie Board
Promarkers
Sentiment is computer generated.

A Birthday Card for a Two Year Old Boy

Today I am sharing a card I made recently for a friend of mine, to give to her grandson.

Last month, Hobbycraft sent me an email enclosing a £5 voucher to spend online
or in-store. Not one to miss out on a 'treat', I went into our local store and put it towards
a set of number dies which I have used on Arthur's card.
I decided to outline the number with a very fine black pen to make it 'pop'.

The items I have used are:-
Crafter's Companion CD Rom - Angelina and Friends Collection
(Image and Backing Paper)
First Edition dies - Number and Date
Couture Creations A4 Embossing Folder - Swiss Dots
Sentiment - PC generated

Challenges entered:-

Crafting with an Attitude - Anything Goes
Crafting by Designs - Anything Goes
Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes
Moo-Mania - Wheels
The Paper Shelter - A Card for a Child
Aud Sentiments - Cute + A Sentiment

My next card will also be using these number dies!
Thanks for stopping by.

Daisy Birthday Card

Today, I would like to share my latest design team card I made
for the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog.
I had a crafter's 'happy accident' with this one!
I planned to have the white label card embossed, so I kept the white card inside
the label die and ran it through my Swiss Dots embossing folder.
Unfortunately, I placed it the wrong way round, so it was de-bossed instead,
but I liked that too, so kept it that way!

The items I have used are:-
Spellbinders dies - Labels Ten
Crafts-Too die - Daisy CTD 17073
Memory Box die - Truly Gifted
Docrafts X-Cut - Tags and Bookplates

Thanks for looking in.
