Christmas Card

Hello, today I have a CAS Christmas card to share with you.
The front of the card was scored with my Hougie board. Using the label die,
I first cut and embossed one in white card, then drew around the outside
of the die with pencil on the red card and cut with scissors to give the frame.
The tree was cut from silver mirri card.
I punched a scalloped oval in red, and cut away the top and bottom scallop to give
a backing to the sentiment. I finished the card by adding red gems to the flowers.

The items I have used are:-
Spellbinders Nestabilities - Reverse Wonky Rectangles
Memory Box - Flowering Christmas Tree
Stampin' Up - Word Window Punch
Woodware Punch - Scalloped Oval
Hougie Board

Male Birthday Card

Hello, today I would like to share with you a birthday card I made for one of my nephews.
He is keen on DIY, so I thought this Just Inklined image was very appropriate and amusing!
After printing the image, I coloured it with Promarkers, and lastly
added some Glossy Accents to give the water spray a wet look.
Using the labels die, I pencilled around the outside edge of the die onto
brown card, carefully cut by hand to give a frame to the image.
I punched three word windows, cut them to different lengths,
adding a brad to each one for decoration.
I added a piece of twine, the sentiment is computer generated and cut by hand.

The items I have used are:-
Spellbinders - Labels 15
Darice Embossing folder - Basketweave
Image from - The Best of Just Inklined 2012 CD

I embossed the frame directly onto the card base.

underneath to highlight the flowers. I then cut a bow from the same pink card
to attach to the front of the dress.

Hello, today I'd like to share a sympathy card I made after seeing the idea on Pinterest.
I really like this layout, which can be used for different occasions.
I scored the larger card square diagonally with my Hougie board.
The other squares were die cut and embossed with Spellbinders Nestabilities.
The sentiment was generated on the PC.
Before assembling, I lightly inked the squares and flourish with
distress ink and then placed them on the cream square card base.

Female Birthday Card

Hello, here is a birthday card I made for my friend Christine who celebrated her
birthday last week. I centred one of the square Nestabilities on the front on the card,
partially ran it through the Cuttlebug to cut half of the square,
then embossed it with the tan mat.
I then folded the cut part of the card back on itself and stuck it to the
back of the front of the card, so that the square was on show.
I inked through the Fleur de Lis dies,
and with the waste from the largest die, I pieced and glued them together
to make the flower for the centre.

The items I have used are:-
Spellbinders: Nestabilities - Squares & Shapeabilities Pendants - Fleur de Lis
Whimsy Corner die set

Teenage Birthday Card

Hello, today I am sharing an 18th birthday card I made for a friend's daughter.
The Forever Friends image was a free stamp from a Docrafts magazine, which I
coloured with Promarkers.
I didn't have any light green card to co-ordinate with the backing paper,
so I die cut everything in white card, then coloured with a Promarker pen.
For the border across the centre of the card, I punched both sides of a strip
of card with the Martha Stewart punch, carefully lining up the pattern.

The items I have used are:-
Spellbinders: Nestabilities - Circles & Scalloped Circles
Spellbinders Labels Ten
Cuttlebug: Alphabet - Olivia, & Vintage Corner Dies
Martha Stewart border punch - Quilted
Docrafts Forever Friends stamp - magazine freebie

Female Birthday Card

Hello, today I would like to show you a birthday card I made for my sister Carolyn,
using the 'die cut inlay' technique.
Although a little bit fiddly to do, I really like the finished effect.
I first die cut the Wild Blooms onto a piece of white card which I then shaped with the Reverse Wonky rectangles. I then attached this to a piece of pink card and cut a
narrow border by hand with a sharp pair of scissors.
Using a tiny amount of glue inside each of the petals and the stems,
I then carefully placed the pink and green die cuts into each space, pressing lightly with
a pokey tool for the pieces to be set in place. Using 3D foam pads, I then attached this topper to a larger Reverse Wonky rectangle which I cut in co-ordinating green card, adding dashes around the edge with a white gel pen. I embossed some diagonal lines on my base card using the Hougie board, cut the tag from the X-Cut set of tags, added the peel off sentiment, brads and the bow to the flower.

The items I have used are:-
Spellbinders Nestabilities - Reverse Wonky Rectangles
Memory Box - Wild Blooms
Docrafts Xcut - Tags and Bookplates
Hougie Board
