Anniversary Card

Hello, today I would like to show you the card I made for my husband for our 35th Wedding Anniversary which we celebrated yesterday. Although I have a fair amount of coloured card in my craft room, I couldn't find any coral colour, so I used white card and coloured the die cuts
with my coral Promarker pen.
I did find some My Mind's Eye embossed paper in a Trimcraft paper pack which was coral colour, so I used a piece for one of the co-ordinating strips.
I have used this sketch from the Just Add Ink blog.

Items I have used are:-
Spellbinders Nestabilities - Circles & Decorative Elements Heart Circles,
the numbers are from the Cuttlebug Olivia Alphabet set, Mama Elephant die - Happy
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder - Polka Dots
Creative Expressions Embossing Folder - Textures Linen

Just Add Ink - Sketch Challenge
Crafting with Friends - Anything Goes

Male Birthday Card

Hello, here's a card I made recently for my neighbour to give to his granddaughter's boyfriend. Not knowing if he had any particular hobbies or sports he liked, I chose a more neutral design.
I scored the lines with my Hougie board on the lower part of the card, then matt and layered some grey and black card. I stamped the sentiment in black ink. Then mounted the star with foam pads, adding the button and home made candi.

Items used are:-
Hougie board, X-Cut dies - Stars, Sentiment stamp - free gift from a magazine

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:-
Cardz 4 Guyz - Button It!
Creative Inspirations - Stars and/or Stripes

Sympathy Card

Today I thought I would share a sympathy card I made recently, for a friend who lost her sister. They are not the easiest of cards to make, and I wanted to keep it fairly simple, so thought my new embossing folder from Darice would do the trick.
I matted and layered onto purple card, added some punched daisies with pearls to the centres.

The items used are:-
Darice Embossing Folder - Sympathy,
Crafters Companion Die'Sire embossing Folder - Swirl Corner
Hougie Board, X-Cut flower punch

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge:-
Just Us Girls - Word Week, Sympathy
Suzy Bee's Blooming Challenge - Anything Goes with a Twist, Embossing wet or dry
