Birthday Card - 'Clean and Simple'

Whilst at the Crafting at 'Ally Pally' show in London last month, I watched
a couple of demonstrations using these media plates, which really impressed me.
Back home, I then found some YouTube videos to watch, by John Lockwood and
other crafters and then had a go myself.

After a few attempts, here is a birthday card I made for a 'card-making' friend.

The set contains a square, rectangle, oval and circle and are really easy to use,
and create a lovely effect. I'm going to try using stencils on the plate next.
The products I have used are:-
John Next Door Media Plates
Stamps purchased from eBay
Challenges entered:-
Watercooler Wednesday - Feminine Anything Goes
Papercraft Challenges - Clean and Simple
Ellibelle's Crafty Wednesday - For Ladies or Girls only
Freshly Made Sketches - #335
Thank you for visiting today.

  9. Beautiful, Janice! I love the colours and that simple black silhouette and sentiment. It's all the other wonderful details that really stand out for me. The lovely shading in the oval and the subtle stamping around the inside perimeter add so much. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
