A Male Birthday Card

I wanted to take part in the latest 'Less is More' challenge, where the theme this week
is 'One Layer Card - Vehicles'.
I used a Personal Impressions wood mounted stamp of an old style bus, which I have
had for years. I coloured the image using Promarkers.
This type of CAS card was quite a challenge for me really, as
I love making 'Clean and Simple' cards but usually with them having a few layers!

The products I have used are:-
Personal Impressions stamp - P1236Q
Promarkers
Sentiment stamp - Unknown

Challenges I have entered are:-
Less is More - One Layer Card/Vehicle
I Love Promarkers - One for the Boys
Cards and More - One Layer Cards
Stinkin' Inkers - Guy Talk
Watercooler Wednesday - Masculine Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by.

  2. CAS perfection Janice! I love the look of CAS but struggle with doing it myself. Your card is an inspiration for me not to give up. I love that it's a masculine card too. I'm always looking for ideas for those types of cards.

  3. Terrific one layer masculine card. The image itself provides lovely depth on an otherwise flat card. Thank you for joining us this week at Less is More. :) Trina

  4. Isn't it fun when we get to pull out old stamps and use them? I love this double decker bus and the way you've coloured it for your clean and simple card. Thanks for sharing it with the Watercooler Wednesday Masculine challenge this week Janice. Great card!

  12. You did a fantastic job on this one layer card, I know what you mean, I usually like to mount my image onto a die to frame it or something but this looks terrific!

  13. This an awesome CAS one/no layer card (I always get them confused duh) I love that image, it brings back fond memories from our trip to England and Wales! We only had like 36 hours in London--a city we found we LOVED, so we took the double decker tour! It. Was. AMAZING. xo~
