Today, I would like to show you a birthday card I made recently for
one of my great nieces.
I love embossing folders and I am embarrassed to admit I have quite a few!
This Cuttlebug 'Happy Birthday' folder is probably one of the first ones I
bought along with my Cuttlebug, but it's not been used for quite a while.
After embossing the card, I lightly inked a blending brush with Tattered Rose
distress ink, and then added Crystal Glamour Dust to give it some sparkle.
The ribbon and pink card were coloured with a Dusky Rose Promarker pen,
so that it all co-ordinated.

A very pretty card Janice. Pink and glamour dust sound just perfect for a little girl. This was also one of my first embossing folders and is still a favourite. Barbxx
ReplyDeleteThis is a great design and lovely to see the embossing as the main design rather than just a background, and it looks fab with the inked detail :-)
ReplyDeleteI really should use my embossing folders more often!
Big hugs, Kat xx
