A Quilted Table Placemat

Today, I am sharing a quilted table placemat, which
is one of the projects available to make on the online sewing course with
Claire at Beautiful Things Craft and Sewing Classes
This is the fourth project I have made since joining the
Bronze Online Sewing Course last July.
It's a good way to start learning quilting and also to practice sewing in straight lines!

The fabric is actually peach in colour but looks very pink in the photos, due to the
poor daylight we've had recently.
I have just another two projects to make to complete this level.
I purchased all three materials
from Geoff's Remnant Shop in Brentwood.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.

A Quilted Box

Today, I am sharing a gift I made for a friend for Christmas.
A quilted box containing a small bottle of pink bubbly.
The fabric I used was a fat quarter which was part of a set I bought in Aldi's.
I lined it with co-ordinating felt from Geoff's Remnant Shop in Brentwood.
I added some pink shredded paper, wrapped it in cellophane and
added some silver twirled string.
If you would like to see others I have made, you can find them

A Two Pocket Gift Card Purse/Wallet

Today, I am sharing a four seam, two pocket purse/wallet that I made to
hold a gift card which I gave to one of my great nieces for Christmas.
I came across the easy to follow project on Lizzy Curtis's YouTube
channel which you can see HERE
I finished the purse using a KAM Snap fastener.

This is a good project for using up those left-over scraps of material, so
I have since made another two for two other great nieces and I can see
myself making more, maybe in different sizes too.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.
