I received a request from my friend's Mum asking me to make a
90th birthday card for a man who loves to play bowls.

Wedding Card

Today, I am sharing a wedding card a friend asked me to make for her recently.

The invitation she received was of a leafy, autumnal theme, so she asked
if I could make her a similar themed card.

90th Male Birthday

My friend's Mum asked me to make a card for her 90 year old friend,
who owns a blue Nissan Juke, and kindly transports his friends around regularly.

I found a picture of the car on the internet and used her idea of adding
 'John's Taxi Service' and using his date of birth as the telephone number.

A Mini Treat Box

Today I am sharing a little treat box I made recently.

I have been following Sam on her Pootles blog for about six months now, and she
makes some fabulous gift bags, boxes along with other projects and cards.

This is my take on her box, details found HERE
It's made from a sheet of card measuring 
8.1/4" x 5″ (21 x 12.5cm)

Hougie Board

I found it really easy to make and think it would be lovely filled 

with a Ferrero Rocher chocolate or maybe a truffle!

My Time to Craft #381 - Use Kraft Card

Today starts a new challenge over at My Time to Craft

where the theme this fortnight is 'Kraft Card'

Here is my design team card which I made for a 

friend's recent birthday.

I started by first embossing the circle dies onto the kraft card, then using my Misti,
I stamped the flower inside the circle. I stamped again on the DSP,

cut around the petals carefully and glued on the stamped image.

I then matt and layered the base card pieces and the stamped image,

using fun foam to raise the image slightly from the base.
