She visited Legoland at the weekend, so I thought a Lego style card

A Cute Ballet Dancer

Today's card is one I made for my friend to give to her granddaughter.

I embossed the base card with the Dandiya embossing folder, die cut the image,

then glued it to the purple card and cut the frame freehand.

I added Glimmer Dust to the skirt, head dress and stars.

Wedding Card

Today, I am sharing a card I was asked to make by my friend Mark
for his work colleagues.

As always, he gives me the ideas of what he would like on the card
and this is what I came up with.

I thought I had a wedding ring die in my collection, but as I couldn't find it

I used Spellbinders oval dies and made my own wedding rings.

I added acetate to the back of the bottle and added Glimmer Dust

to give some sparkle.

A ‘Sugar Free’ Birthday Card

The card I am sharing today, is one I made for my friend who I have known

since we were 5 years old...which is nearly 58 years, so a very long friendship!

Gift Box

After making the Easter treat bags, I thought I would try making a gift box.

As the Easter weekend weather was mainly wet here in the UK, I spent yesterday
sorting my wood mounted stamps, which I have had for quite a few years, I also watched

Sam from Pootles YouTube video's on "box making"

This is my take on Sam's one HERE
She makes some fabulous boxes, bags and containers as well as

cards of course. It's certainly worth popping over to her blog to take a look.

I stamped on my measured piece of card using Versamark, before
following the scoring instructions. 

I'm fairly pleased with my first attempt, but there's definitely

a need for more practice!

Easter Treat Bags

Today I am sharing the Easter treat bags I made for my seven
great-nieces and great-nephews.

I filled each one with a few small chocolate eggs and some money.
They came to visit me on Friday, where I had to hide the bags indoors, as we had a
very wet and cold Good Friday. Next year I will be making eight treats for them, as
we have another baby on the way, 'she' is due in August!
