I am so excited to share the news that I have been selected to join the Fiskarettes UK
design team for the next four months, which means........

Today I have to give a huge thank you to the retiring design team, Jacky Williams, Diane Williams, Rachel Warren and Katie Lamb with grateful thanks for all the fabulous projects they have made to inspire us all over the past four months. Thank you all so much.

This week you will see the first projects by the new design team, Carolyn Fielding, Liz Cavill, Janice Rohde and Shabneez (Happy Hijaabi) - we look forward to four months of fun and inspiration with them.

This is my first time on a design team and is very exciting. 
I will be making one project every week using Fiskars products, which will be 
shown on their Facebook page.
I am really looking forward to having fun and sharing my projects 
with you over the coming months.

Birthday Balloon Card

I spent a lovely day crafting with three friends yesterday,
catching up, card making and having lunch in between.
One of the cards we made, was the balloon one which I showed last week.
My friends chose different colours to make theirs, for both male and female.
I then remembered I had made this card a while back, using the other dies in the set.
I used silver cord as the balloon ties.
Both cards are really good for using all the spare scraps of card we tend to keep!

Female Birthday Card

Hello, today I would like to share a birthday card I have made for a friend.

I partially embossed the square white card with the embossing folder, added a strip of blue card which I edged using the Martha Stewart punch and then scored the six narrow lines
 using my Scor-Buddy. I then added the sentiment, the punched retro daisies and the pearls.

Female Birthday Card

Hello and a Happy New Year to you all.
Today I would like to share my first card of the year, which I was
asked to make at very short notice!
So, with speed in mind, I used the embossing folder directly onto the card base.
I like this embossing folder, as it has a nice scalloped circle
in the centre, which can have anything added to it as a topper.
I attached the punched flowers and leaves, then added pearls to the centre of the flowers.
 I have used navy card for the numbers and scalloped circle,  but it looks black in the
photo due to the poor lighting on the day!
